The symbol

A bat wing, ribbed and webbed, opening along the ear. In Chinese tradition the word for bat sounds like the word for fortune; in Europe the bat belongs to dusk. Made in left-ear and right-ear versions, so a pair spreads two wings, one on each side of the face.
