The symbol

Tianlong, the heavenly dragon, guards the palace of the gods in Chinese myth and carries them across the sky. Unlike the dragon of Western stories it is wise, and it brings the rain. Ours climbs the ear, scaled and coiled, whiskers and claws cut in fine detail.
